Cutiecuticchi

When art and craftsmanship come together

"The sign runs, creates a form an explosion of a thousand colours colours....and the dream becomes substance"
Our creations breathe living and harmonious atmospheres of a wonderful land: Sicily.

Their bright and sunny colours strike straight into the soul of those who admire them.

Its that intimate and sincere art that manages to make you travel with the imagination beyond space and time, an art rich in feeling and passion in which the eye captures the pure harmony of colours that harmony of colours that like a sequence of sweet musical notes of sweet musical notes that satisfy and refresh our existence.

At Cutiecuticchi we offer you artefacts, the result of long artistic experience of academic studies through careful research of various and selected materials from our island: stones, fabrics, leather, terracotta, wood lace, precious woods and anything else that our imagination suggests us to use, skilfully assembled and decorated with water-based paints and finishes
that are non-toxic and ecological.

This is how our unique and unrepeatable. Production is based on a limited number of pieces, because from the design of an object takes hours and hours of work.
But our greatest satisfaction is that of giving each item a style and a distinguished by its uniqueness and originality, but with a single key to interpretation: Love and Passion, our strong points.
Now we feel ready to dive into this exciting and wonderful adventure and the time has come to tiptoe in wherever you are,
with a piece of our beautiful Sicily, cradle of European culture, with the sparkling colours of its sun, sea and flowers, through a romantic and fable-like interpretation, through a romantic and fairytale interpretation, because we artists of Cutiecuticchi believe in it.

"Born with a brush in my hand''
When I was 6 years old I painted on an old wall of my country house a shepherd leading his sheep to pasture.
"I remember when I was still a child I didn't like toys.

I always took with me wherever I went with my parents, my beloved and inseparable suitcase full of colours, paper
of paints, papers and brushes of all kinds.

Every year I spent school holidays in the countryside with my grandparents and happily admired the immense valleys with the shepherds who accompanying the sheep to graze in a musical background the intermittent roar of melancholy rusty cowbells.
I would stay for hours, motionless to contemplate the beauty of the place.
I watched every detail that framed that valley full of flowers, fruit trees, birds' nests, even the little river with its frogs became a melody to my ears.

What a sight! A true paradise.

It was that paradise that dragged me into an enchanted world full of colours and poetry of which I remained and I am still impressed today.
